Web3 podcasts are a good way for Web3 entrepreneurs to stay up to date with the ever-changing onchain ecosystem. Learn what works and what doesn’t, and perhaps identify weak points in your business or development game that need addressing.
But there are loads of podcasts about everything crypto and blockchain. How do you know which are sincere and you can really learn from? We’ve tested some of the best, most popular, and most promising blockchain podcasts out there today.
So, let’s not waste time and dive into a detailed review of the eight most informative shows for entrepreneurs and founders.
What are the best crypto podcasts?
That is a very subjective question. It all comes down to what type of content and information you need. Do you need crypto market analysis? Or are you in need of answers to a technical onchain question? Perhaps you seek more effective marketing and growth strategies.
I have listened to multiple episodes of every podcast on this list. So, I actually have an informed opinion on what these Web3 podcasts are like — and who their primary audience is.
Whatever your needs, there are podcasts out there that provide the answers you seek.👇
1. Onchain Heroes
Onchain Heroes is an interview-focused crypto podcast that features Web3 thought leaders and project founders with real-world impact. It launched in March 2025, just a few days before Onchain’s one-year anniversary. The hosts, Ashton Barger and Angela Em, are both members of the Onchain team.
Weekly episodes cover a wide range of topics, including: smart wallets, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, Web3 entrepreneurship, crypto investing, and more.
Onchain Heroes is:
- Founder and Web3 entrepreneur focused: Onchain Heroes is great for builders and founders who want to learn from fellow Web3 thought leaders and innovators.
- Short and digestible: Episodes are 30-50 minutes and packed with insights. Listen during your lunch break or commute.
- Fun, but insightful: Some Web3 podcasts feel like a university lecture. But with Onchain Heroes, you learn while being entertained. The hosts aren’t afraid to delve into controversy and have some fun along the way.🙂

I consider myself relatively well versed in Web3. Still, I learned a great deal (like the adage goes, the more you know, the more you realize you don’t know).
For example, I highly recommend the recent episode with Pass App CEO Josh Ben-David. For a crypto wallet enthusiast like myself, it was interesting to hear about his pre-Pass days and how he sees chain abstraction and AI playing a role in more user-friendly wallets.
Josh’s thoughts on Bayesian thinking, decision-making frameworks, and approaching things from first principles resonated with me. I’m sure founders and Web3 entrepreneurs will also find value.
Another episode with Robby Yung of Animoca Brands changed my views on aspects of Web3 entrepreneurship. If you’re looking to build, grow, and market your project, you might also like the Abstract or Unfungible episodes.
2. Bankless Podcast
First off, I love the name of this crypto podcast. Because I’m both a big “bank the unbanked (via crypto)” and “unbank the banked (again, via crypto)” guy myself.
It’s fair to say Bankless is an Ethereum-focused podcast. It covers Ethereum development, Layer 2s (L2s) compatible with Ethereum, and related topics. It also mixes in some episodes on global finance, trade, and macroeconomics.
Bankless is worth your time if:
- You love Ethereum: There are many Bitcoin-focused podcasts. Bankless is perhaps the premier Web3 podcast for enthusiasts interested in the technology, use cases, and potential of Ethereum.
- You want some market analysis sprinkled in: It covers finance, supply chains, tariffs, and other news — especially related to how it affects crypto and the Ethereum ecosystem.
- You are tech savvy: A serious Web3 podcast that is slightly more technical than your typical run-of-the-blockchain podcast.
- You appreciate deeper dives: Episodes are put out regularly (around 15 per month) and typically run from 60–90 minutes, providing a longer listen if that’s your vibe.

When I threw on my headphones and hit play, I listened to two very different episodes: Rob Hadick on stablecoins and Rana Foroohar on global economic strategy.
The stablecoin-focused episode was comprehensive and covered the major stablecoins, Ethena, BUIDL, and more. It is one of the best stablecoin deep dives I’ve heard in audio form. For a comprehensive written analysis, check out our stablecoins report.
The Foroohar episode provided an analysis of U.S. trade policy and its impact on the bond market, investors, and the crypto sector.
3. The Pomp Podcast
Hosted by Anthony “Pomp” Pompliano, The Pomp Podcast is focused on finance, Bitcoin, investing, and economic policy.
Recent episodes focused on the Trump administration’s moves, including the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve, U.S. tariff policy, and the overall pro-crypto vibe shift.
The Pomp Podcast is:
- TradFi, VC, and crypto investors focused: This podcast discusses conceptual topics and some technical aspects, but is primarily focused on crypto investing, Web3 VC investing, and exploring the broader investing ecosystem.
- Serious but listenable: Comparable podcasts are often boring and difficult to follow. Pomp does a good job of keeping it interesting with his enthusiasm, thoughtful insights, and well-thought-out questions.
- Varied in listening length: Generally, episodes last between 30 and 60 minutes However, the lengths can vary significantly, ranging from approximately 20 minutes to nearly 2 hours. I personally like this approach. If you can get the information out in 25 minutes, don’t stretch to meet a standard episode length. If you need more time, take it.

I used to be a frequent listener of this podcast. It’s been a while, so I listened to a few new episodes. The Trump situation intrigues me, so I decided to listen to the Bo Hines episode and found it enlightening.
I also listened to one co-hosted episode by Pomp’s other half, Polina. That one was an entertaining listen, with some good back-and-forth banter.
4. Unchained Podcast
The Unchained Podcast covers Web3 innovations, breaking crypto news, and crypto market analysis, and is hosted by Laura Shin. She interviews a variety of Web3 entrepreneurs and founders. This popular podcast comes across as a well-rounded one because it covers a variety of topics and industries without being hyper-focused on a specific niche.
Unchain is:
- A good “jack-of-all-crypto-trades” podcast: You get interesting interviews and episodes that cover macroeconomics, Web3 investing, blockchain compliance, and a host of different blockchain protocols and tech.
- Informational and conversational: The content is often serious, but the host does a good job of keeping it interesting, light-hearted, and fun.
- Intermediate length: Episodes typically vary from 45–90 minutes. Compared to the other Web3 podcasts, the listening time falls somewhere in the middle.

One thing I noticed about the host Laura is her ability to nail the follow-up questions to clarify or to extract more insights from the guest. She also isn’t afraid to push back if challenged or if her guest evades a question.
For example, she questioned Arthur Hayes about his pardon and challenged Jesse Pollak about the recent X post controversy. These tough follow-up questions allow guests to set the record straight in a way that I don’t see on X or other crypto media.
Shin also covers some rarely discussed topics. Things you don’t often see in other places. I listened to a group discussion on how different Asian communities view U.S. policy and Web3 adoption.
5. The Milk Road Show
This daily cryptocurrency podcast is hosted by Jay Hamilton, co-founder of The Milk Road. His show’s topic range is broad and covers onchain analysis, crypto investing, breaking news, and blockchain use cases. Episode formats are typically an interview or a three-person roundtable discussion, and typically last between 45 and 65 minutes.
This is a good Web3 podcast if:
- You appreciate some banter and fun: Jay is one of the more enthusiastic and banter-friendly hosts. In this blockchain podcast, you learn with a smile and maybe even a good laugh here and there.
- You want a regular go-to podcast: The Milk Road puts out episodes five days a week, and sometimes on weekends. This podcast will fill up your free time with regular content.
- You like a variety of crypto topics/ideas: The Milk Road Show is an audio mélange that runs the onchain gamut. If I were doing a long cross-country drive and only had one blockchain podcast to listen to, this one would be near the top of my list.

One thing I appreciate is that Jay discusses more than just the big two chains, Bitcoin and Ethereum, on a regular basis. In my opinion, this is an underserved market for crypto podcasts.
The episodes I listened to include a Vitalik documentary and an interview with Solana co-founder Raj Gokal. I found both of these interviews quite interesting and I gained some insights into who Vitalik really is and into Solana’s product-market fit (PMF).
6. Web3 with a16Z
This podcast is released by the Web3 VC investment firm a16z. Scrolling through the episodes, I found a good variety of content, including crypto concepts and explainers, in-depth coverage of major events, and conversations with notable guests.
Web3 with a16z is:
- VC-focused informational podcast: The target audience is typically Web3 VC investors, those courting Web3 investments, and blockchain builders. However, anyone can gain insights from these episodes.
- Great variety: Like Unchained, this podcast offers a diverse range of topics that appeal to listeners who prefer a non-specialized blockchain podcast over one focused on a single protocol or use case.
- Quality over quantity: Episodes are packed with insights, but the episode output is relatively low. a16z release 1–4 episodes a month, varying in length from only 11 minutes to over 90 minutes.
- Interesting and serious: This is a no-nonsense crypto podcast that focuses on substance rather than jokes, banter, or entertainment.

I listened to the a16z round table on airdrops and the interview with Eigen Labs founder Sreeram Kannan. I really enjoyed that one, as he discussed long-term thinking when it comes to building in Web3. I also appreciated the rare Cardano podcast shout-out.
7. Empire by Blockworks
Empire does a weekly roundup and interviews with Web3 thought leaders. Around a dozen episodes are released each month, with the aim of delivering stories you don’t find anywhere else.
Empire is for you if:
- You want an interview-focused podcast: Most episodes are insightful interviews that run anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes. This blockchain podcast features a good variety of interesting guests and topics.
- You appreciate a weekly Web3 roundup: If you want to ease into the weekend with a weekly recap, Empire delivers an audio roundup podcast every Friday.
- You want some alternative opinions and perspectives: Maybe I was lucky with episodes I listened to, but I heard more iconoclastic and atypical opinions than I normally would in the somewhat hive-minded Web3 crypto ecosystem.

I listened to a deep dive on stablecoins with Edward Woodford, which focused on the varying business models of stablecoin issuers and their competitive advantages and disadvantages.
I also listened to a more philosophical discussion with crypto OG Gavin Wood, the former CTO and co-founder of Ethereum who now works on Polkadot and its continued development.
I found both discussions insightful, but found the one with Wood more unique, because it merges emergent onchain tech with philosophical Web3 principles.
8. The Breakdown
Hosted by NLW (aka Nathaniel Whittemore), The Breakdown is a daily Web3 podcast that covers Bitcoin, investing, economics, geopolitics, and breaking news. Episodes are typically around 15 minutes.
There are numerous solo episodes where NLW covers a variety of topics, summarizes the latest news, or comments on other crypto content. He also mixes in interviews that tend to run a little longer, around half an hour or so.
I was able to power through 4 episodes in under an hour.
The Breakdown could be right for you if:
- You want your daily crypto dose in audio format: It’s a good listen with your morning coffee.
- You want a shorter listen: If you’re looking for a concise summary of the day with no fluff, this could be a good choice for you.
- You focus on finance and Bitcoin: This podcast is less varied than most others, but it’s a good listen if you’re into Bitcoin and financial markets.

Collect and publish Web3 content on Pods.media
One nice thing I’ve noticed about the podcasts above is that there’s camaraderie among them. Pomp recently appeared on Empire, and Laura Shin was interviewed on The Milk Road Show. Perhaps Onchain Heroes will also interview or interact with these hosts, too. 🙂
After all, Web3 thought leaders want the same thing: to educate as many people as possible about Web3, blockchain, and crypto.
To deliver a stronger message and allow followers a share, some podcasts can be minted as collectibles on PODS.media. All Onchain Heroes episodes, for example, are available as NFTs, which include the cover image and the audio file. The data is stored on Arweave, and a podcast leaderboard tracks listener downloads.
